We find 6 Sanchez names listed, with 11 documents from the archives dealing with recorded transactions:The index notes the following:

Usually documents dealt with land, tax, census,conversion or any document that had to be "notorized".I have the index only, I do not have the books.

From "The Jews of the Kingdom of Valencia" by Jose Montalvos (ISBN 965-223-813-9):

"Alfonso Sanchez, a prominent figure of the Aragonese court where he was the royal treasurer." "Marga, Salvador, Adret, Franquis, Calvo, all of these were conversos, and we do not have to dwell on the well known Alfonso Sanchez whom we have seen trading with all those mentioned above. On whom could the jews better rely when undertaking a new exodus (1492) than on their former co-religionists many of whom we know continued to harbor the Jewish faith secretly."

That the voyage was financed by two,Luis de Santangel and his cousin (Kings Treasurer)Gabriel Sanchez is documented.That the maps and sea charts as well as the Astrolab (instrument using the stars for navigation)are known to be from Abraham Zacut(o)and jewish map makers of Mallorca there is no dispute.
